I would like to encourage you to take a look to the Latin American and Caribbean Scholarship available for students coming from the Aruba and consider applying, if you meet the requirements.
Latin American and Caribbean Scholarship
The LAC Scholarship is designed to provide assistance to international students from designated Latin American and Caribbean countries. The scholarship allows these students to be classified as Florida residents for tuition purposes for two semesters (Fall and Spring semesters only). Awarded students must maintain good academic standing (minimum of 3.0 UCF GPA), maintain their immigration status, and comply with the criteria established by the State of Florida.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the UCF resident tuition rate via the LAC Scholarship, all applicants from Aruba must:
- Meet all requirements for international undergraduate student admission as published on UCF’s website.
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (Dutch-system equivalency of 7.0) or higher during the entirety of the education period.
- Must enroll full-time and abide by related immigration requirements as applicable.

Deadline for applying to the Latin American and Caribbean Scholarship it’s on July 31st, 2023.
Please note: Our LAC Scholarship Committee will only consider applications from admitted students by the time of our review.
