Teaching in Freedom, Empowering Teachers
Teachers are a critical foundation of every society’s long-term strength — providing children, young people and adults with the knowledge and skills they need to fulfill their potential. But around the world, far too many teachers don’t have the freedom and support they need to do their vitally important jobs. That is why the theme of this year’s World Teachers’ Day –“Teaching in Freedom, Empowering Teachers” – reaffirms the value of empowered teachers and recognizes the challenges many encounter in their professional lives across the globe. Being an empowered teacher means having access to high-quality training, fair wages, and continuous opportunities for professional development. |
It also means having the freedom to support the development of national curricula — and the professional autonomy to choose the most appropriate methods and approaches that enable more effective, inclusive and equitable education. [read more]

Na Aruba, al rededor di 1400 Maestro y Docente ta dedica nan mes na enseñansa y educacion di nos yiunan. Un trabou importante y bunita, pero tambe di hopi responsabilidad y cu hopi reto. E Maestro di Scol awendia tin un rol hopi mas amplio cu solamente para dilanti klas y traspasa conocemento. E mester duna guia, ta un bon ehempel, motiva y inspira e alumno mientras cu e sa traha cu recurso minimo y mester competi cu tecnologia moderno.
Awe, na ocasion di World Teachers’ Day, Departamento di Enseñansa Aruba (DEA) ta uni su mes na organisacionnan rond mundo cu ta celebra, felicita y gradici e Maestronan di Scol pa nan valioso trabou.

“Riba dia 5 di october mundo henter ta celebra dia mundial di maestro. Mi ta felicita cada un maestro, docente y actor di sosten cu ta traha den Enseñansa. Mi kier no solamente felicita nan, pero mi kier gradici nan pa nan contribucion, dedicacion y esfuerso diario pa duna e miho enseñansa pa nos studiantenan. E no ta e trabou di mas facil y tampoco kisas semper ta scucha danki, pero awe rond mundo, e trabou di e maestro ta wordo reconoci y elogia.
